In October 2024, the Portland City Council approved three new Tax Increment Finance (TIF) districts—including one right here in Parkrose: the Sumner-Parkrose-Argay-Columbia Corridor (SPACC). These TIF districts are designed to prevent displacement, protect housing and businesses, and uplift local communities through targeted investments.

Historic Parkrose is excited to help spread the word that applications are now open to serve on the Community Leadership Committee (CLC) that will guide how these investments are made in our district.
