Historic Parkrose

Historic Parkrose is committed to increasing social equity, economic opportunity, and safety in Portland’s Parkrose district. We make change happen by fostering collaboration between our diverse neighbors, local businesses, and property owners.

Small Business Support

Directing matching grants, technical assistance, and district-wide marketing to build up our vibrant entrepreneurial community.

Mutual Aid

Helping marginalized residents meet basic needs with houseless outreach, food distribution, workforce navigation, and housing assistance.

Community Infrastructure

Improving our district’s shared landscape by creating green space, renovating roadways, and providing a hub for neighbors to access technology and meeting space.

Hosting events, building collaboration around public safety, and boosting the diverse cultural communities that call Parkrose home.

Dear Historic Parkrose Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative,

We appreciate your generosity. My students will benefit greatly from having these items that allow for touch screen access. This type of technology has opened doors for many people with disabilities for greater access to communication, choice-making, tracking of time, and organization. Thank you for helping bring these tools to our students.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Gutierrez
