Eddie Byrd is a creative producer, community builder, and cultural historian with a deep commitment to uplifting Black and Brown voices in Portland and beyond. As the Executive Producer of LSB41 Productions, he develops empowering media projects and innovative youth programs—such as the Drone & Aviation Exploration Workshop—that open doors to new skills, industries, and opportunities.

Eddie is also the co-founder of Oregon Hidden Legacy, a project dedicated to preserving the stories of our elders and cultural pioneers through oral history and documentary filmmaking. His work honors the past while inspiring future generations to dream boldly and act with purpose.

On the Historic Parkrose Board of Directors, Eddie champions equity in neighborhood revitalization and works to ensure that Parkrose’s Black entrepreneurs have a strong voice in shaping our community’s future. Guided by the belief that “It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice,” Eddie brings warmth, vision, and dedication to everything he does.
