Parkrose Clean-Up & Reuse Event

Join us for a community clean-up and reuse event to help keep Parkrose beautiful while supporting neighbors in need.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (or until drop boxes are full)
📍 Location: Parkrose High School (East Parking Lot) 12003 NE Shaver St.

What to Expect

  • Community clean-up and reuse opportunity

  • Donation collection for usable household items

  • Community Warehouse onsite to collect furnishings for people in need

  • See COR’s fully electric garbage truck in action!

Accepted Items

We accept bulky, non-toxic items in good condition, including:

  • Furniture

  • Mattresses in good condition only
    (No soiled, ripped, infested, or contaminated mattresses)

  • Metal items

  • Carpets

  • Strollers

  • Hoses

  • Cords

  • Small appliances
    (e.g., toaster, mixer, juicer — no refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, etc.)

Items We Cannot Accept

  • Oil

  • Paint

  • Fertilizer

  • Tires

  • Household trash

  • Food waste

  • Animal waste

  • Yard debris

  • Antifreeze & refrigerants

  • TVs, computers, monitors

  • Herbicides & pesticides

  • Construction, remodeling, or demolition materials

  • Solvents, thinners, and other hazardous materials

  • Soiled, infested, ripped, or contaminated mattresses
    (Mattresses in good condition may be accepted by Community Warehouse — no mattress toppers)

Community Impact

Community Warehouse will be onsite to collect gently used furnishings and distribute them to individuals and families in need.
