Residing in Northeast Portland for over a decade and a half, Dylan Evanston lived in the Arborlodge, Cully, Concordia, Woodlawn, and Sumner neighborhoods, which have all seen significant changes through these years. Dylan was drawn to the opportunity to join the Historic Parkrose board to participate in the organization's mission to facilitate positive, sustainable improvements for residents in Parkrose and the surrounding area through business development.

As a Technologist and IT consultant, most recently in the Architecture and Engineering industry, Dylan brings a ground-up approach to considering business operations and infrastructure. He seeks to understand how good fundamental systems can improve and strengthen connections inside and between organizations. 

When not working, Dylan is often tinkering on a guitar, out walking the dogs, volunteering as a member of the Sumner Association of Neighbors, or photographing local music and arts events or shows.
