    Lines for Life launched a Crisis Line for Racial Equity Support answered by BIPOC counselors. Call: (503) 575-3764. Available M-F from 8:30 AM – 5 PM.

  • Black and Brown Community Organizer, Bretto Jackson

    Who? The Black and Brown community in Portland, mostly adults

    What? Not for crisis situations, for mentorship and resource navigation

    Bretto provides food box deliveries, job navigation, and mentorship for those formerly imprisoned. He also works on cultural awareness, clean energy, and mental health awareness with Portland organizations.

    Who? Culturally specific groups include Eastern European group, Slavic community, Bhutanese group, Arabic group.

    What? Behavioral health and Refugee Community Services. They also provide a high school support group for refugee immigrants. They have funding to support those without medical insurance.

  • Parkrose School District Gateway Program

    Who? Youth in the Parkrose School District

    What? From assistance with academic fees to school clothes and supplies, this program offers support for students.

  • Multnomah County School-Based Health Centers

    Who? Any youth in grades K-12 who live or go to school in Multnomah County can come to our clinics. You don’t need to attend the school where the center is located.

    What? Student Health Centers at Parkrose, David Douglas and Roosevelt high schools are open Fall 2020 for in-person health services, mental health counseling, and phone and video appointments.

For Those Experiencing Food Insecurity

  • Neighborhood House

    Who? People experiencing food insecurity and receiving food assistance (income verification not required).

    What? Food deliveries in bulk or to individuals. Food includes rice, beans, cooking oil, meat, canned meat, canned veggies, fresh produce when available, cooking staples, and can get culturally responsive food.

    How? Send number, name, dietary restrictions and/or culturally specific needs.

    Who? Portland residents in need of food

    What? Food boxes for pick up

    Where? 6120 NE 57th Ave, Portland, OR, 97218 (This is a ministry of C3 Church NE Portland and located directly across from church offices and worship center at 5740 NE Portland Highway.)

    Drive through and pick up pre-packed boxes of food every Tuesday and Saturday from 12pm-1pm.

  • Crossroads Food Bank

    Who? Portland residents in need of food

    What? Food boxes for pick up

    Where? Open for in-store shopping every Thursdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Crossroads Church, at 2505 NE 102nd Ave. Masks will be required indoors.
